		Melanie Guernsey Leppla Melanie's speciality is in creating the sculptural finials, or handles that distinguish her blown glass pieces. They are created using "off the puntil" techniques--she works the 2000+ degree glass from the furnace into the inticate shapes such as the peach and peach blossom shown on the vases here.
